Puppy Elementary

For puppies between 2 - 4 months

  • Puppy Elementary School is all about learning how to safely & properly socialize your puppy to other puppies, people, and all manner of things that dogs tend to find scary or overly exciting. We’ll also focus on problem prevention and a little foundation obedience behaviours like recall & leash manners. It’s also great for taking cute pictures and videos you can post to your instagram ;)

    Socialization will make the biggest impact on your puppy in the first 3 to 4 months of their life so don’t wait to enroll in class.

    Location: Connective Community Center (3360 Fraser St, Vancouver, BC V5V 4C1)

    Maximum Capacity: 5 puppies per class

    Prerequisites: N/A

    Cost: $275 +GST

    Vaccinations: Puppies must be between the ages of two and four months to enroll and have at least their first round of vaccinations (titer tests also acceptable). If you don’t have a copy of your puppies vaccinations yet, you can still sign up for class and send them to us later.

    2. Playtime (When to Intervene), Down, Recall

    3. Playtime (Consent Tests), Grooming Game, Moving Objects & Sound Socialization

    4. Playtime (When to use Toys & Food During Play), Costume Day, Polite Greetings (Say Hi With Permission), Stranger Danger Prevention, Graduation Time with 1 on 1 time with the Teacher

Puppy Junior High

For puppies between 4 - 6 months

  • Puppy Junior High is designed to prep you for the teenage phase. This class is all about preventing common problems from popping up or getting worse!

    Calmly watching exciting things, cooperative care, polite greetings and more foundation obedience skills are just a taste of what you’ll get in this class.

  • Time: 6:45pm on Thursday Evenings for 4 weeks (this is a 50 min class). Click the book now button to see exact dates & times.

    Location: Connective Community Center (3360 Fraser St, Vancouver, BC V5V 4C1)

    Maximum Capacity: 5 puppies per class

    Prerequisites: N/A, but for best results take puppy elementary school prior to this class

    Cost: $275 +GST

    Vaccinations: Puppies must be between the ages of four and six months to enroll and have at least 2 rounds of vaccinations (titer tests also acceptable). If you don’t have a copy of your puppies vaccinations yet, you can still sign up for class and send them to us later.

Puppy High School

For puppies between 5 - 10 months

  • Puppy high school is where we help your pup pick up handy skills that will make their transition into adulthood easy, breezy & beautiful.

    Prep for off leash time, recall troubleshooting, dealing with distractions, settling, elevator/close quarters etiquette and more await you in this class!

  • Time: 7:45pm on Thursday Evenings for 4 weeks (this is a 50 min class). Click the book now button to see exact dates & times.

    Maximum Capacity: 5 puppies per class

    Prerequisites: N/A, but for best results take puppy junior high prior to this class

    Cost: $275 +GST

    Vaccinations: Puppies must be between the ages of five and ten months to enroll and must be fully vaccinated (titer tests also acceptable). Puppies displaying reactive behaviours should seek our private lessons instead of group classes.
