Honourable Hound is a positive reinforcement dog training company that serves the metro Vancouver area with in-home private lessons.
Our goal is to collaborate with you to achieve long-lasting change. Training is a journey, and our job is to be by your side until you decide you’re ready to fly solo.
Our advice is practical and addresses the root of the problem. We want to help you learn to work with your dog & overcome challenges together.
Our process starts by getting an in-depth understanding of your life, goals, and problems so that we can create a unique training plan that’s exactly what you need.

Are We The Right Fit For You?

Programs are month-to-month, so you can work with us for as long or as little as you like
Programs automatically renew to keep you on track to reach your goals
Unused lesson credits roll over into the next month, so you won't lose them
Skip payments, change your renewal dates, pause or cancel your program anytime. You'll get a reminder email before every renewal to help you stay on top of things
Switch between programs whenever you please (you can see us 1, 2 or 4 times a month)

People who have worked with professional positive reinforcement trainers before (3+ lessons)
Driven individuals who are already familiar with positive reinforcement dog training- they likely consider it a hobby
People with 1-2 simple issues. Note that reactivity. anxiety, fear & aggression are not simple issues
People who are looking to supplement our group classes with some custom content
People on a budget (please feel free to reach out to us to inquire about our sliding scale pricing)
In our experience, people who think they may only need a couple of sessions do best on our Silver program.
